This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an EMAT Data Analyst in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced in-line inspection data to ensure the integrity and safety of critical pipeline assets. The EMAT Data Analyst will be responsible for processing, analyzing, and reporting inspection results with precision and technical expertise. You will collaborate closely with project execution teams and contribute to the development of tailored reports that meet client requirements. This position combines hands-on data analysis with quality assurance, database management, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, technical environment. Exposure to international projects and cutting-edge inspection technologies makes this a highly impactful role for someone passionate about pipeline integrity and engineering excellence.

Accountabilities:

  • Review customer requirements and process in-line inspection data to identify pipeline features and anomalies.
  • Apply industry-standard anomaly assessment criteria to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Prepare, review, and produce comprehensive preliminary and final reports tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain data integrity, synchronize coordinates, and ensure tool sensitivity values are correctly documented.
  • Monitor software performance, identify issues, and coordinate with R&D and team leaders to resolve problems.
  • Update documentation and contribute to standard quality procedures for inspection data and reporting.
  • Support the DA Team Leader, DA Manager, and Executive Team in completing project-related tasks and special assignments.
  • Requirements:
  • College degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Certification in EMAT technology [Level 3] with 15+ years of experience in EMAT data analysis.
  • Strong experience with database development, data processing, and quality assurance for large and complex datasets.
  • Proficient in analytical tools such as Excel, Microsoft Access, Minitab, and SPSS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional-level English.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Physical and mental ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver in industrial environments, and maintain focus for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for training, site visits, or client meetings as required.
