Senior NetSuite Finance Systems Analyst

As a Senior NetSuite Finance Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and optimizing the finance technology ecosystem within a fast-growing, data-driven organization. Working at the intersection of finance, accounting, systems, and analytics, you will lead initiatives that enhance ERP capabilities, automate financial processes, and improve reporting accuracy and scalability. • Administer, configure, and optimize NetSuite financial modules to improve operational efficiency, reporting capabilities, and finance processes.
• Lead ERP enhancement initiatives by identifying and implementing new features, modules, and automation opportunities that streamline financial operations and reduce close-cycle timelines.
• Translate accounting and business requirements into scalable system solutions, collaborating with engineering and technical teams throughout design, testing, implementation, and post-launch support.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting, data workflows, account reconciliations, and journal entry automation processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for finance systems, supporting upgrades, migrations, releases, troubleshooting efforts, and day-to-day system administration.
• Evaluate existing finance processes, controls, and technologies to identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Manage the finance systems roadmap, coordinating enhancements and future implementations with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Provide user support, training, access management, and technical guidance to finance and accounting teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed system documentation to support audit readiness, compliance requirements, and operational continuity.
• Partner with finance, accounting, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure scalable and sustainable system solutions aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

• Advanced hands-on experience administering, configuring, and supporting NetSuite financial modules.
• 3–5 years of experience managing finance systems, including ERP implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects with a strong focus on NetSuite.
• Demonstrated success improving and automating finance processes through workflows, integrations, reporting enhancements, and system configurations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets and performing complex data analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and cloud-based data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake.
• Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools, including platforms similar to Redash or Looker.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls.
• Experience partnering with engineering or technical teams to develop system integrations and workflow automation solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Experience with finance and accounting technologies such as Ramp, Avalara, Cube, Workiva, SAP, or related systems is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools, workflow automation platforms, or finance transformation technologies is highly desirable.
• CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification is a plus.
