This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Engenheiro de Dados Pl. based in Brazil.

You will join a dynamic and highly collaborative data environment, focused on building scalable and high-performance data solutions that power critical business decisions. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines across cloud-based architectures, ensuring data quality, availability, and reliability at scale. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into efficient data models and engineering solutions. The position requires strong hands-on experience with SQL, cloud services, and modern data engineering practices. You will also contribute to CI/CD automation, version control workflows, and continuous improvement of data platforms. Accountabilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve data engineering solutions, ensuring high standards of data quality, availability, and performance.
  • Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines across multiple data sources.
  • Develop and maintain SQL-based routines and data processing logic within analytical and operational environments.
  • Perform data modeling and implement best practices in architecture, coding standards, and scalable design.
  • Manage version control processes using Git/GitHub, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate deployments and data workflows.
  • Work with AWS services, especially Amazon Redshift and Amazon S3, to support data platform operations.
  • Participate in technical discussions, requirements analysis, and solution design aligned with business needs.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Requirements:

    • Experience in software development and strong programming logic skills.
    • Knowledge of Linux environments and command-line operations.
    • Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
    • Intermediate SQL knowledge, including data modeling, stored procedures, and query optimization.
    • Experience working with AWS, particularly Amazon Redshift and Amazon S3.
    • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
    • Understanding of software engineering best practices, including versioning and continuous integration.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
    • Nice to have:

      • Advanced SQL knowledge, especially in Amazon Redshift.
      • Experience with Redshift architecture (distribution styles, sort keys, WLM, performance tuning).
      • Advanced AWS experience in scalable, secure, and efficient architectures.
      • Experience with large-scale, high-availability data environments.
      • Strong skills in query and data pipeline performance optimization.
      • Knowledge of DataOps practices and data automation frameworks.
