Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities to automate or digitize processes 

• Design and implement digital systems (e.g., dashboards, workflow tools, integrations) 

• Work with stakeholders to map business requirements into technical solutions 

This position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing the foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.

REQUIRED: 

 Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s degree in:  

• Computer Science 

• Data Science 

• Engineering 

• Or equivalent practical experience 

PREFERRED: 

• Knowledge in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML 

• Strong SQL and data modeling skills  

• Experience with Python 

• Experience with Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents) 

SKILLS:

• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions 

• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders 

• Problem-solving and systems thinking 

• Adaptability (AI tools evolve fast)
