This role is a senior leadership position responsible for managing and growing strategic relationships with the company’s most complex and high-value enterprise clients. The Enterprise Account Director serves as the primary corporate-level contact, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and portfolio expansion. This position combines strategic account planning, consultative solution selling, and cross-functional collaboration to drive long-term business growth. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities to deepen engagement, influence internal teams, and align client initiatives with overall business objectives. Success in this role requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, alongside a customer-focused mindset and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures. Accountabilities:
- Lead strategic account management efforts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key enterprise clients to ensure alignment with both customer and organizational objectives.
- Develop and execute account plans, forecasts, and strategies to grow the total portfolio footprint and identify expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Technical, Operations, Finance, and Marketing teams to deliver integrated solutions and resolve escalations effectively.
- Act as the customer advocate internally, ensuring client needs and perspectives are represented across business functions.
- Lead consultative sales processes, negotiate contract agreements, and position the full product portfolio to address complex client challenges.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer developments to inform strategic decision-making and opportunity identification.
- Analyze market and account data to create actionable growth strategies and optimize client engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise or strategic account management, ideally in chemicals, manufacturing, or industrial B2B sectors.
- Proven success in growing complex accounts and managing multi-site client relationships.
- Strong business acumen, consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and provide internal leadership.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) and ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, competitor strategies, and customer needs, with strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
