This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a mission-driven organization, providing high-level support to senior leadership while contributing to impactful fundraising initiatives. You will serve as a trusted partner to the Chief Development Officer, ensuring seamless coordination of priorities, communications, and strategic activities. The position blends executive support with project coordination, data reporting, and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll interact with internal teams, donors, and board members, playing a key role in advancing development efforts. This is an ideal role for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities with discretion. Accountabilities:

  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling meetings, donor engagements, travel, and events while resolving conflicts proactively
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate materials for meetings, presentations, and executive communications
  • Serve as a liaison between leadership, internal teams, donors, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication
  • Support donor relations by coordinating meetings, events, and maintaining accurate CRM records
  • Assist in preparing donor briefings, proposals, and stewardship materials
  • Track fundraising activities, deadlines, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with goals
  • Compile and distribute revenue reports, dashboards, and insights for leadership and board presentations
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects, monitor timelines, and ensure deliverables are completed efficiently
  • Support board and committee logistics while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Handle administrative tasks including travel arrangements, expense reporting, and file management
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
    • 3–5+ years of executive administrative support, ideally in nonprofit or development environments
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, data analysis) and PowerPoint
    • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data/reporting tools
    • Ability to analyze data and support revenue tracking and reporting processes
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders
    • Experience with event coordination, donor relations, or fundraising support is a plus
