About the Team:
The Factory Test team is responsible for all hazardous testing in our Long Beach facilities. We use our breadth of experience and collaborative engineering approach to support everything from very large structural tests to precise valve actuation. To that end we design build and operate all test assets in Long Beach from initial concept to test execution. If you enjoy working on a multi-disciplinary team with a broad mandate and want to put hands on hardware then this is the team for you
About the Role:
- Design build and operate pressurized cryogenic/pneumatic/hydraulic systems to support cutting-edge rocket testing.
- Develop and manage advanced data control systems for real-time monitoring and analysis.
- Provide expert guidance to engineers on testing best practices system capabilities and operational limitations.
- Proactively identify and mitigate hazards to ensure a safe and efficient testing environment.
- Create maintain and refine test plans and procedures to drive consistent and reliable testing outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reliability issues improving hardware performance and test effeciency
About You:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of relevant technical experience including (but not limited to):
- Experience working with pressureized flight components
- Operating hazardous equipment with multiple sources of energy
- Building Complex Fluid-Mechanical Systems
- Proficiency with Basic Office Software (Excel Word Outlook Slack).
Nice to haves but not required:
- Associates Degree or Trade Certifications in pertinent disciplines: e.g. Aviation/Automotive Mechanic.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with test automation data acquisition and control systems.
- Knowledge of rocket engine components such as pumps valves regulators check valves as well as electric pneumatic and hydraulic valves actuators and other fluid system components.

Skills Required
