Family Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Chicago, Illinois

A facility is seeking a family medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.

Explore iconic landmarks such as Millennium Park, Navy Pier, the Art Institute of Chicago, Shedd Aquarium, and Willis Tower. Attend sporting events, enjoy deep-dish pizza, and experience the vibrant nightlife.

This position starts as soon as possible, ideally by the end of February or March, and runs through June 2025. It is a full-time role guaranteeing 27 hours per week, with the potential for up to 40 hours and occasional Saturday shifts. The provider must be an MD/DO, bilingual (fluent in Spanish), and able to care for patients of all ages, with an expected patient load of 1216 per day. Required certifications include an Illinois license, DEA/CSR, and RN/MA support will be provided. Athena EMR is used, and COVID or flu vaccination is preferred but not mandatory.
