Field Sales Consultant, Medical - Greater Chicagoland
Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Dental Field Sales Consultant is responsible for managing all B2B sales activities within a designated territory. This role requires regular consultative contact with every account within the territory to grow merchandise, equipment, and service sales with existing customers, while placing a heavy emphasis on obtaining new customers and sharing the Henry Schein value messaging. This position is expected to form business relationships with the customers built around the relevance of Henry Schein to the customer's needs associated with our solutions for business practices, merchandise, equipment, and services.
Territory includes the Greater Chicagoland Area, managing Chicago, Schaumburg and Rockford, Illinois
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales Gross Profit (GP) goals by actively participating and executing key sales initiatives and programs.
- Direct and coordinate sales activities within the territory through the coordination of all team selling. Selling efforts must be highly coordinated to meet the complex needs of a rapidly changing industry and customer.
SPECIFIC SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Professional selling skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
- Proficient computer software skills including the use of Microsoft Office suite
- Attention to detail
- Project management skills
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years prior sales experience preferred
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically, a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires extensive travel within a specific geographic territory assignment. No special physical demands required.
There is no salary range associated with this position because it is 100% commission-based.
