The Opportunity

This position works out of our Lake Forest location in the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division. This is a hybrid role with flexible dates to work out of this office.

An integral part of the US ARDx Finance team, this position is responsible for leading the strategy and development of sales operations analytics and improvement of finance efficiencies. In addition, this position will lead and coach a team of analysts who will support the commercial team with insights, analytics and ad hoc reporting. The role will span all business units within the US Segment of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics while providing thought leadership related to the broader US ARDx leadership team. The role will provide design and development support for business processes and commercial reporting. This role will provide finance leadership that ensures data integrity, accurate calculations and robust analysis. The role will also be responsible for the coaching and development of direct reports.

The role will support the design and development of business processes and commercial reporting. This role will provide finance leadership that ensures data integrity, accurate calculations and robust analysis. The role will also be responsible for the coaching and development of direct reports.

What you will work on:

• Provide support to commercial leadership as a key liaison for commercial reporting and analytics.
• Provide support to finance leadership as a key liaison for process improvement and analytics enhancements.
• Works closely with the Commercial Leadership and Finance team to provide analytics support.
• Develop and coach direct report(s).
• Provide some forecasting reports as needed requested by management.
• In-depth analytical skills and the ability to convey complex concepts.
• Work with complex spreadsheets/programs and use of databases for analyzing financial data.
• Manage one associate currently, however this may increase over time to more direct reports.
• Plan, direct and monitor analytics initiatives.
• Improve the performance and productivity of the department processes and overall organization's financial, operational and managerial processes.
• Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree
• 5 years experience in similar area

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Business or related field
• Demonstrated proficiency managing large modeling efforts involving complex business problems.
• Advanced knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Proficient in Access and Word
• Experience with SAP, BW and SQL
• Experience with Salesforce.com
