About the team:
As a Finance & Strategy manager for Robinhood Brokerage Investing & Trading product area, you will act as a key strategic leader linking operational and business decisions with financial outcomes. With finance ownership of key Brokerage products, you will be the lead for multiple business partners across Product, Engineering and Ops to be a financial steward of the company. In addition to supporting Brokerage Product areas directly, you will play role in developing influential insights to drive strategic efforts forward.
The ideal candidate will have proven experiences in past roles influencing business leaders and supporting decision making in constantly evolving environments. This role requires someone who can navigate ambiguity and interdependence, balance multiple project's end to end, and drive cross-functional projects to completion. This role has regular interaction with senior leadership at Robinhood and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
This role will report directly into the Director of Finance & Strategy.
What you'll do day-to-day:

• Developing product and business annual plans, financial forecasts, and ongoing analysis of variances.
• Synthesizing / distilling key financial and business insights for leadership, analyzing results, synthesizing business critical metrics, assessing risk, and communicating timely risks & opportunities.
• Partnering with leaders and other cross functional teams to ensure alignment of strategic objectives and team resourcing
• Prepare financial models and analyses to support cases for growth, product builds, and other initiatives.
• Being a leader with vision to improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable solutions to support the next wave of Robinhood's growth.

About you:

• A Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field
• 4-7 years of finance experience with dynamically increasing levels of responsibility in investment decisioning, forecasting, and budget/expense management
• Strong project management skills and ability to implement collaboratively across complex, matrixed environments
• Ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written comms, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives
• Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics, and the business judgment to balance the details while not losing sight of the big picture
• Proven track record to lead multiple challenging priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion.
• A positive demeanor. This means a desire to work hard, be creative, stay curious, and maintain a can-do approach.

Bonus points:

• Familiarity with analytical tools (SQL, Looker) and financial reporting software (Oracle, Anaplan)
• Experience working in the Fintech or Consumer Tech industries.
• Note: This will not be a people management role at the onset, but longer term (+18mths) will potentially involve the opportunity to lead people.

CO Residents: In Colorado, the base pay for this position ranges from $106000 - $141000.
NYC Residents: In NYC, the base pay for this position ranges from $136000 - $160000.
This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and participation in Robinhood's equity plan.
Base pay is determined by market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Please note, some of our roles are open to additional levels which would impact the expected base pay.
