Job Summary
The Financial Analyst – Capital Management’s primarily responsibility is to perform various duties to support financial modeling and financial analysis to F&G’s Capital team. This role supports members of the Capital Management team with financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation as it relates to the company’s capital position.
Organization
The Financial Analyst – Capital Management will report to the AVP, Capital Management Analytics. He/she will collaborate with other members of the Capital Management team and other departments across the organization including Investments, Actuarial, Risk and Finance.
Duties and Responsibilities
The range of tasks to be performed may include, but may not be limited to, the following:
- Perform various duties that support financial modeling and financial analysis to F&G’s Capital team.
- Performing designated tasks within the actual and forecasting processes.
- Support the analytics function and process to assess the company’s capital position.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and/or internal control enhancements
- Assisting with ad hoc requests, special projects and other duties related to capital management and analysis, as assigned.
- Assisting with the coordination of close and forecasting activities.
Experience and Education Requirements
The experiences and/or education requirements required (or preferred) for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 1 year of experience in financial reporting, accounting or auditing
- Life insurance or financial services experience preferred
