What we're looking for

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. You'll focus on important calculations, reporting, and analysis to help the business execute on its goals. You must be able to use your quantitative skills to break down data sets and identify underlying trends and business drivers with an eye for detail and accuracy.   The ideal candidate will be able to manage timely deadlines and be proactive at achieving them.  You'll need to know your way around Excel, have a limited experience in SQL, as well as a solid helping of common/business sense.

What you'll do

We think perfect spreadsheets and balanced books are beautiful. Our team embraces the crucial nature of our work and digs into the details to sleuth out correct data. We work on short and long-term forecasting and planning to predict and explain business performance..  In this role you will be working with the Sales Executive team to calculate and forecast sales commissions.  The right candidate will not only help with calculations and forecasting but also work with the sales teams to understand sales performance and guide the sales executives with their analysis.  

  • Compile, analyze, and report on sales activity 
  • Calculate commissions & bonuses in support of our Sales and Business Development team
  • Forecast sales commissions by modeling short and long projections
  • Partner with Sales leadership to develop new commission plans to effectively drive our aggressive growth strategy
  • Expense management in cooperation with business owners
  • Development and publication of key weekly and monthly reporting 
  • Communicate your findings effectively and follow through to help drive improvements
  • Other duties, as assigned

Skills you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline such as finance or accounting
  • 2+ years in a relevant field.
  • Experience in compensation analysis preferred.
  • Advanced Excel experience (lookups, logic functions, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage numerous assignments, identify priorities, and exercise good judgment
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be highly motivated with the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and relentless follow through
  • Reliable internet service

Ability to work from home and resides in one of the followings states: AK, AL, AZ, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, or WY

You’ll be working in your home office setting. We hold virtual training sessions and weekly team meeting. Occasional offsite team meetings in your region or our HQ locations. Requires frequent, repetitive use of a computer, phone, and office equipment. Requires patient, professional communication with prospective clients, and the ability to build confidence with prospects.

Compensation

  • $70000 - $75000 / year
