Job Description

We are now seeking to engage a Fortinet Engineer with strong experience in security infrastructure requirements including configuration, evolution and support. 
Experience Required:

• Manage incidents, and assure ongoing investment.
• Supporting integration and provisioning phases.
• Creating firewall templates and configuration to deploy security functions. verifying configurations and system behaviour based on approved design.
• A strong understanding of TCP/IP networking in regards to servers, routers, firewalls, applications and experience managing and configuring FortiGate
• Upgrade the managed Fortinet firewalls to up-to-date and common version 5.2.9
• Strong experience in Network Security space
• Troubleshooting & Diagnosing the root Cause of the issue across Data, Voice and Wireless Network - WAN,LAN, Internet connectivity, Routers, switching and wireless and Firewall
• Reporting the status & ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained at all times
• Ensuring all required documentation is accurate and updated in a timely manner
• Ensure that all processes and procedures are followed to the highest professional levels
• Willingness to be available for support after hours, as required
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

Ideally ITIL certified and hold vendor qualifications such as Fortigate
