About The Role:

YipitData is looking for a highly-motivated Financial Planning & Analysis Associate to join our growing FP&A and Business Intelligence team. 

This is a unique opportunity to work at a high-growth FinTech company with an entrepreneurial yet supportive and cooperative start-up culture, where you will be utilizing your financial and analytical skills to drive strategic decisions and growth in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

In this role, you will gain exposure to all areas of a growing company including sales & marketing, product, engineering and operations, and will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with the most senior management in the company including the CFO and other executives.

This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarter is located), one of our office hubs (Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, or Seattle), or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding. Please note that we pay NYC-based salaries for US roles regardless of where employees choose to work.

As our FP&A Associate, you will:

• Analyze and interpret relevant financial data and business metrics while partnering closely with department heads to impact strategic business decisions
• Build and maintain YipitData’s annual budget and quarterly forecasts 
• Create monthly reporting packages for both the Board of Directors and internal stakeholders which include analysis of historical operating results, forecasts, a comprehensive KPI dashboard and insights from key business trends
• Support the preparation of the Company’s long-term strategic planning models 
• Provide financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation support for a variety of special projects that may include M&A, financings, new business initiatives and other ad-hoc projects

You are likely to succeed if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting or corporate finance
• A strong academic record with an undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or other business-related fields
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills to work across diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• An ability to manage multiple priorities and function effectively in a fast-paced high growth environment
• A commitment to learning and continuously improving as well as striving for efficiency
• Experience in SaaS or start-up environments a plus
• Experience with Adaptive Planning a plus

• The annual base salary for this position is anticipated to be $110k. The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks.

This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.
