We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their own individual fitness journey.
We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a Manager of FP&A - Operations & Product, remotely in the United States.
ROLE COMMITMENTS
- Develop a master COGS report for forecasting and reporting on BOM level engineering changes and savings initiatives
- Assist in streamlining reforecasts to enable full rolling 12 monthly updates to the entire model by Dec 2026
- Assist in building an executive level labor allocation model for the hardware and software engineering teams to track spend by major program
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hardware Product & Engineering Value Steering: Serve as the lead strategic partner to Hardware and Software Engineering leaders, evaluating the high-level ROI of the product roadmap and strict project spend tracking
- Financial Gatekeeping: Provide the definitive financial "Go/No-Go" analysis for new hardware launches. • Software Product Strategy: Direct capitalization schedules and software R&D investment strategies that align with long-term corporate goals with clear ROI
- Global Logistics Strategy: Own the financial architecture for global logistics, warehousing, and last-mile delivery, partnering with logistics leadership to guide structural shifts to protect and expand contribution margins
- Downstream Operations Support Finance: Partner with Customer Service and Manufacturing/Quality leadership to transform vast warranty data into strategic hardware reliability trends that inform future product design and warranty cost mitigation
- Budgeting & Rolling Forecasts: Lead the evolution of the Product and Ops budgeting process toward a dynamic 12-month rolling forecast within Adaptive Planning, ensuring the business remains agile.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage Snowflake datasets to spearhead at least two major marginimprovement initiatives per month (e.g. shipping lane optimization or strategic component sourcing)
- Develop and lead 2 Sr. Financial Analysts
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education and Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering with a financial emphasis required
- 5–7 years of progressive FP&A experience
- Experience in a Hardware, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain environment required
- Familiarity with both COGS/Inventory accounting (hardware) and R&D capitalization/SaaS metrics (software)
- Expert-level Excel skills (complex nested logic, Power Query)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial statements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders, including executives
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
- High degree of intellectual curiosity and continuous improvement mindset
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or CMA certification
- High proficiency in Adaptive Planning
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau or similar BI tools using Snowflake data
- SQL proficiency
