The Role:
Bobbie is looking for a passionate developer with experience working on e-commerce and web platforms. This person will have an incredible opportunity to help build out and shape the engineering team at Bobbie while making an enormous impact on delivering amazing experiences for parents and babies throughout their feeding journey.
This Front-End Developer will have a proven understanding of web development and front-end coding principles with respect to responsive web engineering in the development of amazing customer-facing experiences, JavaScript, CSS, and html. In addition, this developer will be accountable for the successful launch of defect-free, modular, reusable, and maintainable code through the product lifecycle.
What you will do:
- Responsible for planning, developing, and supporting the user interface layer of our web commerce applications and websites.
- Work alongside business stakeholders, visual designers, UX architects, and product managers in a collaborative environment to iteratively deliver solutions on time and on budget.
- Leverage the latest front-end technologies, tools, and frameworks to produce UIs that push industry standards for accessibility, usability, and performance.
- Experience leading groups of developers in an onshore/offshore model with agile delivery methods.
- Should have experience collaborating with enterprise UX standards and brand governance teams. Must be able to help translate business issues into detailed requirements, delivery plans, and graceful code that solves origin problems.
What we would like you to have:
- Strong Shopify Plus Development with the ability to edit themes and build them from scratch as needed.
- Proficiency in developing web applications with HTML, CSS, HTL, Javascript, and ReCharge API experience a plus.
- Modern web markup, including HTML5, CSS3+, and preprocessing languages.
- Experience using GitHub, Jenkins, and or similar tools and technology.
- Experience and understanding with unit testing, release procedures, coding design, and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures.
