Role: Full Stack Engineer
Description: The Full Stack Engineer will join our rapidly growing engineering team. We are looking for an engineer who is ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work. You are ideally a self starter with an ownership mentality, that can understand and execute on new concepts quickly. This position will have a big impact on our growth and could become a leadership role as our team grows.
Base Salary: $60,000+ (USD)
What you'll do
- Design & develop solutions with NoSQL/MongoDB databases
- Improve architecture and optimize performance of very complex Blackthorn products
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems asynchronously
- Work closely with your scrum teams and larger company
- Learn new concepts and languages with our team
What we look for
- 3+ years working with Node.js and Typescript designing and implementing REST API's
- 3+ years of NoSQL/MongoDB experience
- 3+ years system admin experience: Linux/Bash/ZSH, SSH, Cron, Apache/NGINX, SSL/OpenSSL
- Very efficient with code and tooling
- Design pattern best practices
- Git, Unit Testing suites, Linting concepts
- 2+ Typescript experience required
- 2+ NestJS experience preferred
- 2+ years Angular experience preferred

About Blackthorn
We have two native apps on the Salesforce AppExchange for managing Events and Payments. We’re a growing, distributed team in four countries. We move fast and have significant structure in our product build process. Everyone on our team has deep experience within their respective roles. Our customers span from 1 person companies to Fortune 500s.

Our apps continue to be easy to use and setup, due to continuous refinements with our UX. Most apps in our space take weeks to implement, ours take hours, and they work more flexibly, achieving significantly more functionality than our competitors. We believe enterprise apps should be as easy to use as consumer mobile apps.
