Full-Time Pharmacist Contract-to-Hire Mail Order/Retail Background Chula Vista, CA (13+ Weeks)

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a full-time 13+ week contract-to-hire opportunity in a non-traditional mail order pharmacy setting in Chula Vista, California. Pharmacy Hours: Monday Sunday, 8:00 AM 8:00 PM. (Shift end times may vary depending on workload.) Responsibilities: • Product verification of boxed diabetic medical supplies (CGMs, insulin pumps) • Overseeing fulfillment operations • Supporting pharmacy technicians and collaborating with a full team • Maintaining accuracy, compliance, and timely workflow • Participating in team-based workflow optimization System/Software: • Brightree (system training will be provided) Requirements: • Active CA Pharmacist license in good standing (no negative history) • Previous retail or mail order pharmacy experience preferred • Strong communication and team collaboration skills • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment • Open to temp-to-perm conversion, especially for pharmacists with multiple state licenses Client Notes: • Current team includes 3 pharmacists, 5 technicians, a clerk, and a driver • Volume: ~20 orders/day, but fulfillment is detail-heavy and time-consuming • Tech support will be providedpharmacist will never work alone • Candidates with multiple licenses will be prioritized for long-term Site Manager opportunities Compensation for this position ranges from $61.00 to $72.00.
