Position Specific Description

This position will require an impending employee to work full time from our Doral office

Job Overview

Employees in this role coach field personnel to meet commitments and ensure quality. Individuals instruct and assess work related to distribution, meter installation, maintenance, and repair work on the gas distribution system. This job also supports meter reading and pressure related functions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversees and ensures safety of the public, property and employees in the service area and responds to gas related emergencies
• Assesses and coordinates multiple field related projects including scheduling work, resources, and materials management
• Works with Operations Supervisor to guide and coach employees to achieve performance objectives
• Reviews work requests from call center for added load and rerouting of meters
• Oversees and administers compliance training including operator qualification (OQ), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Public Service Commission (PSC), Department of Transportation (DOT) and Company Policy for Field Service Employees
• Performs crew safety audits and investigations related to Motor Vehicle Administration (MVAs) and On-the-job Injuries (OJIs)
• Performs pre-site inspections to evaluate job site work requirements and performs field work as needed to supplement supply gaps
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• Experience: 8+ years
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Internal candidates must have completed Florida City Gas(FCG) Training and Certification(s):

- AUT Certified

- Locate Certified

- Basic Meter Activation Certified

- General Meter Activation Certified

- First Responder Certified

- Crew Leadership Certified

- Operator Qualifications

• For all external candidates: must obtain all FCG training and certification(s) within 14 months from the date of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of Natural Gas Industry Experience
• Welder Certified
