Title:General Accountant Location:San Jose, CA Salary:60K - 100K (DOE) + Allowance + Bonus Status:Direct Hire FLSA:Non-Exempt This is a full-time position with benefits including Bonuses, Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life), Health Savings Account, 401(k) program, Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays. Essential Job Functions: • Responsible for daily general ledgers and journal entries • Check data accuracy and update for general accounting • Process monthly and year end closings, preparing and participating in internal and external audits • Support Accounts Payable team with various tasks • Responsible for using Excel to analyze and report financial figures to managers upon requests • Assist with company`s internal managerial accounting tasks • Participate, contribute, and handle various company corporate activities focusing on deeper thinking, value exchange, and constant improvement • Perform other duties as assigned an a member of the Operations department Qualifications: • Knowledge and experience of general accounting, with background and experience in Accounts Payable as a must • Detail-Oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) • Flexible, open minded individual who seeks for continuous improvement of tasks • Strong analyzation and problem solving skills • Able to work with minimum supervision • Proficiency in Japanese is a plus Education and Experience: • 3+ years of corporate accounting experience, AP experience needed • Must have experience working in a fast-paced, growing company with over 100 employees • Proficiency of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Experience in manufacturing or similar industry is a plus To apply, please send your resume [email protected]
