Job Description

Guidewire's Analytics helps the property & casualty (P&C) industry to convert systems of record to systems of insight (predictive analytics, cyber, 3rd party data, etc). By combining internet-scale data listening, adaptive machine leaning, and insurance risk modeling, our Analytics solutions provide insights and analytical capabilities that enable our customers take advantage of new opportunities, accurately price exposures, and get the most out of their operations and service processes.

This role reports to the Global Head of Analytics Advisory. The successful candidate will be passionate, results-oriented with a strong customer focus and incredibly high standards of quality. You will be a member of the senior Analytics leadership team - responsibility focused on customer success; business advisory service delivery; manage team of underwriting, data analytics and actuarial domain experts; and develop capabilities within the teams.

What is expected:
  • Lead the Account Management team (total headcount ~ 9). The Account Management leader will ensure we understand our clients business goals and execute on a plan to leverage Analytics solutions to achieve success. These teams have client account management, underwriting, actuarial, modeling, data science, engineering, and cyber security expertise.
  • Build and lead post-sale client relationship strategies to maximize product expansion opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the team's contract renewals and updates.
  • Support the Sales team.
  • Develop relationships with customers at all levels of the organization (C-level to program leads).
  • Develop thought leadership content and represent the Company at conferences, industry meetings, user groups and other venues.
  • Participate as a member of the Analytics Leadership Team to ensure our strategic objectives are met.
  • Responsible for working with Product Management and Engineering to articulate client and market needs and support the prioritizing of Product initiatives.
  • Represent the Analytics value proposition in the Guidewire senior leadership strategy working group.
What is needed to succeed:
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of Account Managers to ensure a successful and consistent customer value delivery.
  • Meet with customers and prospects to develop perspectives on overall Analytics market development and competitive dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Solution Consulting, Corporate Marketing and Product Marketing teams to refine messaging and client engagement plans to respond to external dynamics.
  • Work with the broader Analytics team on thought-leadership and reputation building content, and presentation.
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise account management and customer success
  • Ability to understand customer trends and business drivers and work with Product Management/Engineering to develop industry leading solutions that respond to those needs.
  • Strong program management skills
  • Minimum 12+years experience in the P&C Industry with a strong awareness of commercial insurance, predictive models, data & analytics, modeling and cyber risk.
  • Travel: 20- 50%.
