Global Marketing Portfolio Sr. Manager

Responsible for developing and executing the Global Portfolio Plan including four Super Classes that represent Est $400M in USD. Spearheaded the growth strategy for the organic portfolio and new product launches, driving commercialization efforts while ensuring seamless integration with operational functions. Develops and coaches highly skilled portfolio teams, drives organizational alignment and directs overall portfolio strategy for growth as part of the combined Food Safety team.
•Portfolio strategy & direction
•Manages the global intensive portfolios P&L to drive profitable growth through innovation, market expansion, pricing and programs based on market and customer insights and data
•Partners closely with cross-functional senior leaders (Sales, Marketing, R&D, manufacturing, quality) to gain organizational support and alignment of core competencies and priorities for portfolio growth
•Manages global range of products, ensuring that product offerings are effectively positioned in each market
•Ensures clear value proposition, brand strategy and sub-brand for portfolio offeringsÂ
•Directs input for intensive categories as part of the Neogen strategic plan
•Oversees and works with multiple projects and manages shared resources, such as budgets or teams.
•Product team leadership
•Talent: Ensures pipeline of relevant marketing talent, develops and coaches product teams to elevate contributions, engages and inspires team
•Champions portfolio internally at all levels of organization, acts as external portfolio champion with customers, senior industry experts and external bodies
•Manages portfolio team to meet portfolio objectives, supports team in achieving portfolio goals and objectivesÂ
•Communicates annual OKRs and goals, conducts annual performance reviews, and individual development plans for direct reportsÂ
•Collaborate with the regional teams in the hiring, onboarding and developing the regional marketing org.
•Organizational alignment
•Leads Regional reviews, planning & meetings, regional portfolio coordination & global business direction for innovation, operational needs.
Requirements:
•Advanced degree in relevant marketing, business or scientific discipline or equivalent experience
•7-10 years of work industry experience in product management, product marketing or related discipline with advancing responsibilities and contributions to organizations
•Experience leading innovation acceleration and/or high-growth projects globally
•Superior communication and influencing skills, collaborative and team oriented
•Engaging and inspiring leadership skills with proven ability to elevate contributions and impact of teams
•Demonstrated depth and expertise with customers, products and use cases. Able to partner fluidly with peers using balanced skills in business, marketing, technical and operational
