Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Partner Communications Manager to join our Global Partner Organization team. In this role, you will have a successful track record leading multiple communication programs and campaigns simultaneously. You will develop and implement critical communication plans that deliver important information and news that inform and strengthen Splunk's relationships with our Partners. This role will build critical messaging framework to support the Partnerverse transformation with our ecosystem, understanding unique value props to land across channels and internally with Splunk. Drive globally the core messaging, communications strategy and the importance of regular partner communications from roadmap to how best to work with Splunk ensuring our vibrant ecosystem grows, develops and builds loyalty across the globe.

Work closely with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to centralize and deliver integrated plans that ensure clear and effective communication that aligns with our brand and business objectives.

The candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for writing, clear communications, value prop work and scaling from strategy to execution and measurable results. This role requires skills in epic storytelling and who can prioritize and lead multiple timelines and drive consensus across many groups.

Responsibilities:

The primary pillars of this role include planning, messaging framework, value prop, content development, project management, process development, team member collaboration and relationship building.

  • Develop and implement communication strategies and comprehensive tactical workback plans that align cross-functional team members for seamless delivery. Build compelling content for various communication channels, including web copy, emails, newsletters, social media, program guides, and presentations
  • Lead and drive cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all partner and program communications.
  • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the efficiency of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvement
  • Build and document new communication programs and vehicles with deliverable assets, Bill of Materials, playbooks for the field.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries and feedback, ensuring timely and professional responses
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to find opportunities for joint communication efforts with partners
  • Collaborate with content agencies of record to develop and implement communication campaigns and assets.
  • Build and document processes for net-new communication programs and vehicles. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in partner communications to continuously improve strategies and tactics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field and/or 5-7 years of related experience, in a communications role for a partner audience (i.e., VARS, SI, CSP, MSP, ISV, etc.)
  • Experience in partner communications, public relations, or a related role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple priorities
  • Experience leading and driving cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and communications platforms is a plus

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $132,000.00 - 181,500.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $118,800.00 - 163,350.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $105,600.00 - 145,200.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
