Job Description

As a Growth Strategy Expert for Tech Scale-up Companies (Senior Director/Analyst), you'll help Gartner client companies in the technology industry solve complex challenges and deliver on key initiatives, have impact across industries, and grow your career.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A successful track record in developing and implementing scaleup strategies that accelerate revenue growth beyond product market fit and other early startup milestones
  • Experience building a high performing team to accelerate growth in scaleup stage of growth by applying modern concepts such as RevOps, generative AI, and Product Led Growth models
  • Strong financial acumen to help CEOs and founders prioritize investment and spending decisions, including advising on cost optimization strategies
  • Exceptional communication and persuasion skills to apply Gartner's research to client situations, and often challenge clients to adjust their priorities

What You'll Do:

  • Advise tech CEOs and founders on scaling the business and prioritizing investments
  • Help first time founders and Tech CEOs to develop tools to establish and scale their organizations
  • Help experienced founders to stay ahead of emerging innovations in product strategy, go to market approaches, and business management
  • Collaborate with other Gartner experts to drive thought leading commercial innovation across all customer segments
  • Conduct research to develop actionable and objective insight targeting tech CEOs and their teams
  • Deliver high quality actionable advice to clients through a variety of media
  • Write clear, actionable, advisory research documents
  • Work collaboratively as part of a globally distributed team of experts, analysts and advisors

What You'll Need:

  • 12 plus years' experience working within a technology field and relevant corporate development, strategic planning, and leadership experience.
  • Direct, recent experience as a Tech CEO or founder is highly preferred.
  • To enjoy challenging and being challenged. Voicing your opinion.
  • A strong ability to explain complex ideas effectively.
  • Proficiency in distilling data or information to identify key findings
  • Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed environment
  • A desire and ability to write effectively and succinctly.
  • Intellectual agility
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred

California Annualized Base Pay Range: 150,000 USD - 170,000 USD

Colorado Annualized Base Pay Range: 150,000 USD - 170,000 USD

New Jersey Annualized Base Pay Range: 150,000 USD - 170,000 USD

New York Annualized Base Pay Range: 150,000 USD - 170,000 USD

Washington Annualized Base Pay Range: 150,000 USD - 170,000 USD

Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
