Job Description
We are looking for a Manager of GTM Operations & Strategy who will play a critical role on a team that combines strategy, analytics and financial analyses to enable the Company to scale successfully and efficiently. Reporting to the VP of Finance & Strategy, the Manager of GTM Operations & Strategy will provide regular forecasting and reporting through various financial and analytic models at different granularity levels to track revenue, KPI, seller and account management performance as well as drive operational and strategic insights. Additionally, the role will be responsible for the analytical aspects supporting key business decisions, including go-to-market strategies, headcount allocation / investment recommendations and process improvements.
On top of financial modeling mastery, this position requires excellent communication skills to support the inherent exposure to key stakeholders within and around the company (CFO, CEO, CRO, EVP Client Success and investors). Additionally, we are looking for someone who is comfortable performing in a fast-paced, ambiguous working environment and driven to solve problems.
You are passionate about all things software, data and tech with knowledge of or a high interest in the linear and digital advertising space. You are accomplished in the areas of finance, strategy and revenue operations ready to support the objectives of a highly cross-functional, fast-growing organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
- Prepare and maintain sophisticated models that support weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and KPI reporting and forecasting;
- Lead forecast and report preparation, pipeline analysis and sales performance analyses that provide insights that support decision-making and help define and execute on the company’s key strategic priorities;
- Act as a primary liaison between Finance, Sales and Client Success teams to create detailed reporting to drive analytical decisioning and tracking of seller and account management teams;
- Support quarterly commission planning and tracking;
- Drive strategic decision making in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, while providing actionable insights through reporting and ad hoc analyses;
- Use data to build narrative content for Executive and Board reviews that not only tell the story but identify the root cause and drive action;
- Find ways to continuously improve, automate and scale revenue forecasting and reporting tools, processes and methodologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 to 5 years of Investment Banking / PE, Consulting / Strategy, Finance or Sales Operations experience, preferably in a high growth SaaS or Technology organization with exposure to go-to- market strategy;
- Strong experience in navigating through complex data and financial models with extensive experience in preparation and maintenance of revenue forecasts;
- A deep familiarity with Salesforce and understanding of data analytics/visualization tools (like Tableau or related);
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and deliver under a shifting, fast-paced and often ambiguous work environment;
- Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft recommendations and results into easily digestible messages, communications, and executive presentations;
- Ability to tackle unstructured problems / business signals and build strategic frameworks and financial models;
- Proven ability to work well in a highly cross-functional environment and develop a strong rapport with senior and executive management;
- Strong academic background with an aptitude for quantitative analysis.
PERKS:
This position pays a minimum base salary of $130,000 + Bonus/Commissions + Equity + Benefits. The actual compensation offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, and experience.Â
