Job Description

Team: Recruiting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Global Talent Acquisition based in the United States.

This leadership role is focused on building and scaling a world-class talent acquisition and people operations function within a fast-growing, mission-driven organization.
You will own the systems, processes, and strategies that attract, evaluate, onboard, and retain exceptional global talent.
The role combines hands-on recruiting leadership with strategic people operations, giving you the opportunity to directly influence organizational growth.
You will partner closely with executives and cross-functional leaders to create scalable workforce solutions and strengthen the employee experience.
This position is ideal for a recruiting-focused leader who thrives in remote environments, values operational excellence, and enjoys building from the ground up.
You will play a key role in shaping the culture, systems, and talent infrastructure needed to support long-term business success.

Accountabilities:

The Head of Global Talent Acquisition will lead the development of a scalable recruiting engine while establishing the people systems needed to support a growing distributed workforce. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, operational execution, and hands-on talent leadership.

  • Own the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy, including sourcing, candidate evaluation, interview processes, hiring operations, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, job boards, referral networks, freelancer platforms, and other sourcing channels.
  • Manage structured interviews, candidate assessments, test projects, and hiring workflows to ensure consistent and high-quality hiring decisions.
  • Optimize sourcing channels and recruiting processes by analyzing performance data, improving conversion rates, and creating repeatable hiring systems.
  • Develop and maintain hiring reports, dashboards, and metrics to provide leadership with visibility into pipeline health, performance, and opportunities.
  • Strengthen employer brand reputation by managing candidate experience, gathering feedback, and supporting initiatives that enhance company perception.
  • Design and implement scalable people operations systems covering onboarding, performance management, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Partner with leadership to support organizational design, capacity planning, and evolving workforce needs.
  • Build performance frameworks and development processes that promote accountability, growth, and retention.
  • Provide workforce insights and recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness and support strategic decisions.
  • Manage external partners and service providers supporting recruiting and people operations initiatives.
  • Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a recruiting-driven, systems-oriented people leader with experience building talent functions in fast-moving, remote, or distributed environments. You are comfortable owning hiring outcomes directly while creating the infrastructure needed for long-term organizational growth.

    • 3–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within remote, e-commerce, technology, or high-growth environments.
    • Proven success hiring across multiple functions, including marketing, operations, product, leadership, and specialized roles.
    • Experience managing structured interviews, candidate assessments, test projects, and end-to-end hiring processes.
    • Familiarity with recruiting platforms and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, freelancer platforms, and workflow management tools.
    • Ability to manage multiple active hiring processes simultaneously while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
    • Strong written communication skills, including creating compelling job descriptions, outreach messages, and candidate communications.
    • Experience building recruiting dashboards, analyzing hiring metrics, and improving funnel performance.
    • Experience supporting employer branding and managing external company reputation.
    • 5+ years of progressive HR or people operations experience with leadership responsibility.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
    • Experience supporting contractor-based, remote-first, or globally distributed teams.
    • Knowledge of scalable people systems, contractor compliance, employment practices, and risk management.
    • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Benefits:

      • Remote-first work environment with flexible working hours.
      • Opportunity to directly influence the growth and culture of a rapidly expanding organization.
      • Mission-driven workplace focused on creating meaningful products and customer impact.
      • Competitive compensation package.
      • Paid time off and holidays.
      • Access to learning resources and professional development opportunities.
      • Free access to company products.
      • Regular collaboration with executive leadership and key decision-makers.
      • Supportive culture built around trust, creativity, and teamwork.
      • Long-term stability within a family-founded organization with ambitious growth goals.
