The Basics
The Head of Global Sales Enablement will drive top line revenue growth and achievement of Tanium’s strategy. This will be done by interfacing with key leaders across Tanium and leading the sales enablement team in developing, implementing, and improving ongoing training and skills development across our direct sales force and channel. This includes our new hire onboarding process, our sales processes and skills required to successfully develop leads through closure across all segments of our business, new product launches and working with and selling through our partners. In this role, the Head of Global Sales Enablement will be ambitious and forward thinking – someone who continuously sets the bar higher with the enablement program. This role requires experience running large scale enablement programs with a global scope. Â
What you’ll do:Â
- Work with sales leaders to accelerate sales transformation throughout the organization by developing a training and enablement roadmap for all key sales roles from business development to account executives extending to sales leadership both for direct sales team and for our channel.Â
- Develop and implement training strategy for the sales organization that increases salesforce productivity, performance and quota attainmentÂ
- Design curriculum to cover market, competition, company, products and services, sales processes, sales methodology, sales tools and skills trainingÂ
- Lead the Sales Enablement team to enhance a comprehensive onboarding plan, annual sales kickoffs, and continuous training program for Sales team membersÂ
- Motivate, coach and provide feedback on an ongoing basis to a world-class sales enablement team.Â
We’re looking for someone with:Â
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experienceÂ
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales training design, development, and deliveryÂ
- Minimum of 5 years managing and directing an enablement teamÂ
- Proven success managing effective teamsÂ
- Authorized to work in the U.S. Â
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a quota carrying salesperson and/or sales manager in a technical field preferably softwareÂ
- 10 years of experience in sales training design, development, and delivery in the software or IT industryÂ
- Ability to build, implement, and facilitate online, classroom, peer group, and role play/flip the classroom methods of sales trainingÂ
- Familiarity with common sales methodologies such as Challenger and Meddpicc or others.Â
- Experience working with an LMSÂ

What you’ll get
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 to $400,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
