MVMNT is a freight tech startup founded in 2020 with a mission to enable freight brokers. We do that with integrated enterprise applications that stretch the length of brokerage business operations, from TMS solutions to financial products. For the past decade, billions of dollars have been poured into the industry in an attempt to disintermediate the brokerage from the transaction with little success - we believe that augmenting, rather than replacing, the human relationships in freight via technology is what the industry needs.

The Opportunity:
MVMNT is looking for an experienced and driven Head of Marketing to join our growing team. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies that align with our product vision and business goals across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success. Armed with a passion for finding unique and innovative ways to market products and acquire customers, you'll build an incredible team to create marketing activities that drive MVMNT revenue, growth, and brand value.
This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on MVMNT's growth and success by driving product positioning, product launches, go-to-market strategies, product content, competitive analysis, and customer engagement. You will:
- Product Lifecycle: Define MVMNT's product marketing strategy to launch new products and solutions or reposition existing offerings
- Integrated Marketing: Work closely with Sales, Product, and Operations to develop an integrated GTM plan that supports our customer and commercialization lifecycle
- Customer Intelligence: Direct market and customer research collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to guide marketing strategies and campaigns
- Marketing Strategy: Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies to drive demand, acquire, and retain customers across multiple channels
- Revenue Generation: Explore and test new means of revenue generation - ways to market our products and services
- Marketing Standards & Practices: Establish and reinforce marketing standards and practices across the organization
- Team Leadership: Inspire, develop, build, and manage a team of innovative marketing professionals
You have:
- 6-10+ years of product marketing experience in high tech or supply chain and logistics, with a proven track record of launching and scaling new products and solutions
- Experience with content creation, competitive positioning, product launch planning, customer research, and go-to-market strategy
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision making across all levels of the organization, with a focus on developing a strong relationship and operating cadence with product and tech leadership
- Ability to leverage data for decision making and storytelling without becoming slow to act in a performance oriented environment
- Proven track record driving customer growth and revenue
- A high comfort level with fast-paced, disruptive and high growth environments
- Proven team development, management, and leadership skills, including the ability to drive consensus among executive stakeholders and translate that into action
- Experience managing marketing budget and expenditures in a cost-conscious way and proving ROI in a complex industry
- B2B experience is preferred
