This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Sales based in India.

This leadership role is focused on accelerating commercial growth and expanding market presence across a strategic regional territory.
The position combines sales strategy, business development, customer engagement, and operational leadership responsibilities.
You will drive revenue growth by identifying market opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and executing go-to-market initiatives.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will shape pricing strategies, optimize profitability, and support product expansion.
The role requires a strong understanding of healthcare technology markets and the ability to lead high-performing sales teams.
As a senior commercial leader, you will play a key role in shaping business success and building long-term customer relationships.

Accountabilities:

The Head of Sales will lead regional sales strategy and execution, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and customer success while developing strong commercial capabilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and execute sales strategies to increase market share, expand customer adoption, and achieve profitable revenue growth across the assigned region.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, competitive opportunities, and high-potential market segments.
  • Develop targeted business plans and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
  • Drive customer acquisition initiatives and strengthen relationships with key accounts, distributors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement competitive product positioning and pricing strategies aligned with market requirements and business objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue targets, profitability, and P&L indicators, making adjustments to optimize business outcomes.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and use insights to refine commercial strategies and improve execution.
  • Identify potential business risks and develop proactive mitigation plans to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales organization focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and professional development while developing future commercial leaders.
  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align business priorities and ensure successful strategy execution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to support long-term business growth.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with a strong commercial background, strategic mindset, and proven ability to grow businesses within complex healthcare or technology markets. Required qualifications include:

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and marketing roles within multinational organizations.
    • Proven leadership experience in medical devices, dental technology, imaging solutions, healthcare technology, or related industries.
    • Strong understanding of market development, customer acquisition, distributor management, and regional sales operations.
    • Experience driving revenue growth, improving market share, and managing commercial strategies.
    • Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Dental Surgery (BDS), Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Engineering, Science, or a related discipline; postgraduate management qualification preferred.
    • Knowledge of dental imaging markets and experience with aftermarket sales is highly desirable.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Strong capabilities in stakeholder management, negotiation, and customer relationship development.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and partner effectively across teams.
    • Strong change management skills with the ability to adapt strategies in evolving markets.
    • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business impact.
