This role offers a unique opportunity to lead trading operations for a dynamic financial services organization, overseeing trade execution, risk management, and strategy development across global markets. You will be responsible for optimizing trading performance, implementing robust risk frameworks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Leading a high-performing dealing team, you will coach, mentor, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration. The position requires a deep understanding of forex markets, financial instruments, and risk mitigation techniques. You will analyze market trends, assess trading exposures, and develop strategies that drive profitability. Operating in a fast-paced and fully remote environment, you will have the freedom to make impactful decisions while contributing to the growth and evolution of the trading function.
Accountabilities:
- Oversee and manage all trading operations, including trade execution, order management, and liquidity provision
- Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize performance and profitability
- Monitor market conditions, trading exposures, and positions to identify risks and opportunities
- Implement and manage risk controls such as position limits, stop-loss, and hedging strategies
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance frameworks
- Lead, develop, and coach the dealing team to maintain high performance and best practices
- Conduct post-trade analysis, prepare reports, and present insights on trading performance and risk
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA, CFA) preferred
- Proven experience in forex trading and risk management, with 2–3 years in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, trading instruments, and risk management techniques
- Analytical skills to interpret complex trading data and market information
- Proficiency in trading platforms, risk management systems, and financial analysis tools
- Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
