Head of US Sales, Vice President
Remote - US
This role will require travel and some work during the evenings and occasional weekends.Â
Territory: Nationwide US

What you’ll do:
- Hold accountability for overall sales organization performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning sales objectives with firm business strategy.Â
- Support the sales organization’s leadership team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
- Serve as a conduit to the service, operations, product, and marketing teams for customer and prospect feedback to ensure continuous, rapid improvement of the Invitae’s products and offerings.
- Align the sales organization’s objectives with firm business strategy through active participation in organizational strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, and sales resource planning.
- Leads sales organization change initiatives by continuously assessing the need for organizational change, championing change initiatives, and removing obstacles impeding constructive organizational change.Â
- Provide visionary leadership to the sales organization in support of focus on a common goal and passion for achieving it as a team.Â
What you bring:Â
- A passion for sales leadership with a high degree of accountability and integrity.
- Desire to create a high performance sales culture using data to inform strategic decisions and drive success.
- 10+ years of healthcare senior sales experience and substantial experience building relationships and selling complex, value driven solutions to a variety of healthcare stakeholders.
- 5+ years’ experience leading high performing teams within the genetics/genomics/diagnostics space is required.
Geographic pay ranges:Â
Pay ranges reflect annual base pay only. You would be eligible for an uncapped $165,000.00 annual sales incentive compensation in addition to the base pay if 100% target is achieved and the Invitae Sales incentive pay terms/conditions are met.
- Annual base pay $232.800,00Â - $286.300,00 (Northern California, Remote, New York - Remote, San Francisco: physical locations)
- Annual base pay $218.700,00 - $268.900,00 (Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Rhode Island, Alaska, Southern California, Connecticut, New Jersey, Â Washington, Massachusetts, District of Columbia (Washington D.C.)
- Annual base pay $202.400,00 - $248.900,00 (All other states not already listed)
