Position Summary: The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our Home Health program, ensuring compliance, supporting clinical excellence, and fostering a positive and accountable team culture. This individual plays a critical role in ensuring that patient care is delivered safely, effectively, and with dignity in the home setting. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, supervise, and support a team of skilled nurses, therapists, and aides. • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Medicare regulations. • Collaborate with the administrator and interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs. • Oversee quality assurance, performance improvement (QAPI), and clinical documentation practices. • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to staff. • Maintain accurate and timely reporting for audits, surveys, and internal reviews. • Assist in hiring, onboarding, and continuing education of clinical staff. • Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives for the agency. Qualifications: • Current RN license in the state of [Nevada or applicable state], in good standing. • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in Home Health. • Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred. • Deep knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation and Home Health regulations. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to lead with both compassion and accountability.
