Job description

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilledHome Health Nurseto provide personalized care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of clinical tasks, including blood draws, IV therapy, medication administration, wound care, and patient education. This position requires a nurse who is independent, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a home setting. Key Responsibilities: • Provide in-home nursing care to patients in accordance with the care plan • Performvenipuncture and blood draws; transport specimens to designated labs if required • Initiate, monitor, and manageIV therapy, including medication administration • Monitor vital signs and report significant changes to the physician or clinical supervisor • Administer prescribed medications and injections • Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and home care procedures • Perform wound care and dressing changes • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic health records (EHR) • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, physical therapists, and social workers • Follow infection control and safety procedures during all home visits Skills and Qualifications: • Registered Nurse (RN)with a valid nursing license in the state of Nevada • Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in home health, acute care, or a similar setting • Proficient in blood draws and venipuncture • Experience with IV therapy, including starting and maintaining IVs • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Comfortable using mobile devices or laptops for electronic charting • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with OASIS documentation (for Medicare patients) • CPR/BLS certification (required) • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Working Conditions: • Frequent travel to patient homes • May require lifting and positioning of patients • Must adhere to universal precautions and proper use of PPE Job Types: Part-time, Per diem Pay: $65.00 - $130.00 per hour Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week Work Location: On the road
