Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilledHome Health Nurseto provide personalized care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of clinical tasks, including blood draws, IV therapy, medication administration, wound care, and patient education. This position requires a nurse who is independent, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a home setting. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Provide in-home nursing care to patients in accordance with the care plan β€’ Performvenipuncture and blood draws; transport specimens to designated labs if required β€’ Initiate, monitor, and manageIV therapy, including medication administration β€’ Monitor vital signs and report significant changes to the physician or clinical supervisor β€’ Administer prescribed medications and injections β€’ Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and home care procedures β€’ Perform wound care and dressing changes β€’ Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic health records (EHR) β€’ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, physical therapists, and social workers β€’ Follow infection control and safety procedures during all home visits Skills and Qualifications: β€’ Registered Nurse (RN)with a valid nursing license in the state of Nevada β€’ Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in home health, acute care, or a similar setting β€’ Proficient in blood draws and venipuncture β€’ Experience with IV therapy, including starting and maintaining IVs β€’ Strong assessment and critical thinking skills β€’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills β€’ Comfortable using mobile devices or laptops for electronic charting β€’ Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Experience with OASIS documentation (for Medicare patients) β€’ CPR/BLS certification (required) β€’ Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Working Conditions: β€’ Frequent travel to patient homes β€’ May require lifting and positioning of patients β€’ Must adhere to universal precautions and proper use of PPE Job Types: Part-time, Per diem Pay: $65.00 - $130.00 per hour Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week Work Location: On the road
