This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Home Lending Associate based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to support customers through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives: securing home financing. As a Home Lending Associate, you will manage customer relationships, guide prospects through the mortgage journey, and help deliver a smooth and efficient lending experience. The position combines sales expertise, problem-solving, and customer service to create meaningful outcomes for borrowers. Accountabilities:
The Home Lending Associate will play a key role in supporting customers throughout the home lending process while driving strong business outcomes through effective communication and sales execution.
- Manage a pipeline of prospects across home purchase, refinancing, and home equity opportunities, guiding customers through each stage of the lending journey.
- Support customers with mortgage applications, documentation, and follow-up activities through both inbound and outbound communication channels.
- Build trust with customers by providing clear information, answering questions, and developing strong knowledge of lending products and market practices.
- Drive customer engagement and conversion by managing key sales funnel activities and achieving performance targets.
- Partner with loan officers, underwriting teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Respond quickly and effectively to new opportunities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Understand customer goals, timelines, and financial needs to provide tailored guidance and support.
- Stay informed about mortgage products, lending practices, and relevant industry requirements to deliver accurate assistance.
- Handle customer inquiries responsibly while maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.
- Share customer feedback and improvement ideas to enhance internal tools, processes, and overall service quality.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, including at least 1 year of experience within the mortgage or home lending industry.
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets, supported by a strong record of performance and accountability.
- Self-driven mindset with strong ownership, initiative, and a customer-first approach.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Ability to independently identify challenges, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions.
