About the position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join our team and provide comprehensive support to our customers in various areas of human resources and employment law. As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering expert guidance and solutions on a wide range of HR topics, including global mobility, M&A, benefits administration, pension plans, total rewards benchmarking, leave management, and employment law compliance. Your expertise and knowledge will be crucial in advising and assisting our customers in implementing effective HR policies, employment contracts, termination procedures, and other relevant processes and documentation in compliance with local HR practices and labor law.
What you will do:
- Provide expert advice and support to customers on various HR matters, including human resource management, global mobility, mergers and acquisitions, benefits & pension administration, leave management, and total rewards benchmarking.
- Support customers in developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Provide locally compliant employment agreements.
- Advise and guide customers on employment contracts, termination procedures, and redundancy processes, ensuring legal compliance and best practices.
- Offer expert guidance on works councils, collective bargaining agreements, and union-related matters, providing strategic advice and support to customers.
- Collaborate with customers to develop effective health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
- Provide guidance on worker classification, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations related to employee status and independent contractors.
- Advise customers on employment compliance requirements, including headcount thresholds, transfer of undertakings, reductions in force, and employment contract transfers.
- Assist customers in aligning their benefits packages to market standards and industry benchmarks, ensuring competitive offerings to attract and retain top talent.
- Advise customers on employee communications related to HR processes, ensuring clear and effective communication channels and messaging.
- Provide expert guidance on data privacy and protection, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safeguarding employee and company information.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role, with a strong background in providing comprehensive HR support and guidance.
- Extensive knowledge of global HR practices, employment laws, and regulations, particularly in relation to the areas mentioned in the job description.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits administration, pension plans, and total rewards benchmarking.
- Familiarity with works councils, collective bargaining agreements, and union-related matters.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex HR issues, provide practical solutions, and effectively communicate recommendations to clients.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Additional language skills would be helpful but not required โ please advise which languages you speak and write in when applying
- Experience interacting with people internationally
- Willingness to work flexible hours across time zones, as required for international business
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
