HR Assistant
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Handles Level I HR Compliance and Payroll tickets: ensures workplace compliance, checking our registered agent account from time to time, and reach out to gov’t agencies for any concerns from our tax notices.
- Assist in Level II tickets as needed.
- Update the digital bulletin board and coordinate with runners/coordinators for any changes with the posting requirement for our physical offices.
- Responsible for preparing the worker’s compensation payroll report.
- Assist HR Lead with necessary required employer reports.
- Oversees mandatory training for employees per state.
- Monitor and submit insurance claims related to workers’ compensation.
- Implement and maintain effective compliance with all federal and state labor laws including employee training.
- Assist in payroll preparation – time and PTO adjustments.
- Help to comply with governmental and company regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- On-time completion of worker’s compensation payroll report.
- 100% assigned ticket is completed within schedule.
- 100% assigned ticket is updated daily (external update).
- 50% Connectwise Utilization (>4h daily time entry).
- 100% actionable compliance items within schedule.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of experience relevant to the position.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field (BS/BA Psychology).
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate – familiarity with Microsoft office and ticketing tools is a plus.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- High level of integrity.
Other Requirements:
- A home office set up that meets the following:
- A working computer (minimum 8gb RAM), i5 Windows10 or BigSur for MacÂ
- Stable internet connection (at least 5mbps download and upload)Â
- HD webcam/cameraÂ
- A quality headset with noise cancellation feature for meetingsÂ
- A mobile phone that has the capacity to install the Microsoft Authentication appÂ
- A very strong cultural fit the ITS way (Our core values will be discussed during the interview)Â
- Excellent command of the English language both spoken and writtenÂ
- Able to work full time 40 hours a week - 8AM to 5PM Pacific Standard Time (PST) from Monday to Friday.
- Able to pass our online behavior and cognitive assessments.Â
- Able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants)Â
Pay rate starts at $3.75/hour and vary by experience and location.
