Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator will support the Corporate Human Resources (HR) Enterprise Technical and Digital Acceleration divisions in all HR processes, programs, reporting and policies.
Primary Responsibilities
• Ensure employee data in HRIS is accurate and current.• Coordinate with Hiring Managers on badge access, orientation schedule, equipment requests, and account creation.• Organize, prepare, and deliver new-hire onboarding and assist with employee training.• Assist with the and maintenance of policies and procedures.• Answer questions related to benefits, compensation, and employee relations, and address issues raised by current employees and new hires.• Remain knowledgeable, ensure compliance with, and answer general inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and programs which govern employees, including but not limited to, employee handbook and drug and alcohol testing program.• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to implement various programs and documentation such as job status change forms, LOA/termination documentation, personnel number requests, organizational structure changes, and the creation of new positions.• Create correspondence, presentation, agendas, and reports.• Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive issues.• Interact will levels of the organization.• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalency plus two (2) years of experience; bachelor's degree preferred.• Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources• Ability to work on-site and remotely and provide support to employees via telephone and video conference.• Strong ability to work with a team and build relationships throughout the organization.• General knowledge of employment law and interviewing principles• Effective communication skills - written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships.• Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions.• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills.
Physical Demands
• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine.• Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
