HR Operations Specialist
Job Description
Weβre looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our growing team at Bridgeway Benefit Technologies! The HR Operations Specialist will support the overall HR function, specifically in areas of new hire onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and various HR administrative tasks. The HR Operations Specialist collaborates closely with our HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide high caliber service to our employees. Our HR team is highly driven, results oriented, and passionate about our employees (and future employees)!
This position is primarily remote for candidates in the Mid-Atlantic region, with occasional visits to our office locations in Maple Shade, NJ and Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all pre-employment processing, ensuring a welcoming and high-touch new hire experience.
- Responsible for daily administration of our benefit programs and processing, including execution of the annual open enrollment period.
- Maintain employee records within the HRMS, ensuring the integrity of the data and provide technical guidance to the HR team on the maintenance of the system, including training on how to operate and optimize work in the system.
- Liaison between employee and management to answer questions regarding policies, practices and procedures.
- Assist HR Business Partners and leadership with planning and execution of human capital initiatives.
- Participates in the planning and execution of annual and new hire initial performance appraisals.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including all required annual compliance reporting and/or testing.
- Occasional support as needed with recruiting talent for open positions.
- Assist with planning employee events, trainings, and company meetings.
Requirements
- 3+ years of broad Human Resources experience
- Direct experience with Benefits Administration and guiding employees through open enrollment
- Experience with ADP WorkforceNow, strongly desired
- Must maintain confidentiality, discretion, and integrity
- High initiative with demonstrated accountability and responsibility for independent judgment and successful outcomes
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Federal, State and Local legislation regarding personnel and labor laws
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline
- HRCI/SHRM certification is a plus
