This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Human Resources Manager based in the United States.

The Human Resources Manager will oversee employee relations, HR administration, compliance processes, and internal policies while creating a positive employee experience.

Accountabilities:

The Human Resources Manager will oversee daily HR operations, support employees and managers, and develop systems that improve efficiency, compliance, and employee engagement across the organization.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees seeking HR guidance, support, and information.
  • Advise leadership teams on employee relations matters, workplace challenges, management questions, and sensitive personnel situations.
  • Conduct employee consultations and support the resolution of workplace concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Manage employee relations processes, including recommended action plans and follow-up implementation.
  • Oversee communications related to compensation, benefits, policies, and organizational updates.
  • Process employment verifications, accommodation requests, paid family leave requests, unemployment claims, withholding orders, and workers’ compensation claims.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and confidential personnel files.
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with departments to implement HR processes and ensure policies are understood and applied effectively.
  • Manage employee evaluation processes and support performance management initiatives.
  • Oversee HR administrative support during high-volume periods.
  • Track HR data, employee demographics, and communication trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership regarding HR priorities, trends, and organizational needs.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will have strong HR operations experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive employee matters while improving systems and processes.

    • Demonstrated experience in human resources management, employee relations, or people operations.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support employees through complex situations with empathy and respect.
    • Experience training, managing, or supporting teams.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience implementing policies and procedures and helping teams successfully adopt new processes.
    • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to improve, maintain, and optimize operational systems.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership and drive solutions.
    • Ability to remain calm, thoughtful, and effective in high-pressure situations.
    • Experience supporting teams across different functions and managing relationships with stakeholders.
    • Experience with equity-focused workplace practices and inclusive organizational approaches is preferred.
    • Experience in high-pressure campaign, advocacy, or field-based environments is a plus.
    • Knowledge of de-escalation strategies is an advantage.
