Your Role and Responsibilities
| The IBM event team plans and executes best-in-class virtual in-person and hybrid events that deliver new pipeline build brand awareness and offer outstanding attendee experiences. Delivering great client events involves many stakeholders and the event strategists leads the charge in understanding business requirements and IBM clients and partners and integrating them in the event experience providing critical leadership and partnership across marketing functions sales and agency partners to bring the event plan to life. The IBM Global Conference team scope is end-to-end execution of Think and TechXchange global conferences as well as strategy and delivery of regional experiences around the world. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
| • 1+ years of experience one of the following areas: Digital Strategy Marketing or Technical Support • Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks • Project management experience adherence to deadlines and ability to think strategically • Interest in data-driven analytics and resulting actions; a growth mindset • Avid learner who consistently expands knowledge to gain new skills and expertise predicting needs and preventing issues • • Great interpersonal oral and written communication skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Exposure to managing projects across cross-functional teams | |
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
| • Experience with event and/or marketing platforms including Rainfocus CVENT Airtable Marketo etc. preferred • High energy independent worker self-starter resourceful and problem-solver • Demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure managing resources and several projects simultaneously | |
