Information Systems Technology Intern

The Marine Corps Enterprise Network team in the Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for an Information Systems Technology Intern for a remote position supporting our headquarters in Reston, VA and operations across the world.

Primary Responsibilities

• Interact with regional managers to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction.
• Assist with defining scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects. Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and IT requirements.
• Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
• Confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables with the customer. Participate in business and technical IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancement, and conversions.
• Prepare system documentation. Establish and maintain security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents.
• Analyze, identify and resolve business and or technical problems using appropriate tools.
• Participate in special studies and stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree at an accredited college/university in an IT, Computer Science, or similar major.
• Must possess 2 years of experience in Information Systems (IS).
• Must possess specialized experience in a single discipline such as cloud engineering, coding, assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, and data engineering.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products including MS Word, MS Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI, and Sharepoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• The optimal candidate will possess an understanding in data analysis with MS tools along with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification such as Network +; an Operating System (OS)/Application certification in Microsoft.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
