About the role:
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Inside Sales Consultant will be an individual contributor responsible for closing new business generated from inbound inquiries and transactional requests from our prospects and customers. Successful candidates will be highly organized, process-oriented, and adept at maintaining high levels of activity to consistently complete a high volume of transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a full sales lifecycle from start to finish.
- Execute a high velocity sales process to qualify, sell, and close new transactions with DataCamp’s SMB and MidMarket customers and prospects.
- Conduct efficient yet thorough qualification and discovery in order to optimally position DataCamp’s unique capabilities and value proposition.
- Present DataCamp’s product capabilities, demos, and pricing options to prospective customers.
- Manage all activities involved in creating new customer Order Forms and/or facilitating the completion of customers’ ecommerce transactions.
- Maintain timely and accurate customer, contact, and opportunity data in DataCamp’s CRM (SFDC).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Multi-years experience in a customer-facing role at a Saas or tech-enabled business services company is preferred.
- Highly organized, diligent and comfortable working in a fast paced sales or operations environment.
- Superior listening and communication skills.
- Collaborative mentality and commitment to continuous skills development.
- Familiarity - or can quickly take up - on the data science space.
(New York only) Starting base pay for this role is between $60,000 and $80,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
