About this role

You will be an Inside Sales Professional. You will navigate and be a part of the the sales process and generate leads. You will need advanced understanding of sales within resale of hardware & software in IT Services. This role is not a quota bearing role.

What you will do
  • Participates in the sales cycle from start to finish for delivery of business solutions to small-sized clients. Meets or exceeds annual new business revenue target for inside sales and lead IT generation services within a defined sales territory. Carries a small quota aligned to the scope of territory and/or services.
  • Works closely with the client relationship and account management to develop an account development plan for accounts within assigned sales territory.
  • Works across a small territory to create and maintain a market for defined services, and to qualify and develop opportunities within inside sales and IT generation service capabilities or their workloads and capacities.
  • Provides pre-sales support to client relationship personnel to drive the pipeline of qualified leads across a small sales territory. Qualifies leads and develops opportunities. Executes the standard sales process through to closure.
  • Addresses basic client business problems. Provides feedback to management and marketing regarding customer needs and concerns. Develops a compelling value proposition for our solutions based on a solid business case and its overall impact on the client's agenda as well as company goals.
  • Assesses competitors by analyzing and evaluating competitor information and trends, identifies prospective sales opportunities.
  • Develops business relationships with company and client personnel.

Who you are
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • Six or more years of business development or sales experience
  • Experience working with the technology industry, specifically inside sales and lead IT generation for services and capabilities
  • Experience working with technology products, services, competencies, and solutions
  • Experience working with a standard sales methodology and supporting tools and applications
  • Experience in cold calling, lead generation and inside sales for IT services
  • Experience selling IT solutions preferred
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients
  • Good selling and negotiation skills
  • Good communication skills to listen to the client and articulate back for solutioning
  • Good networking skills to create and maintain formal and informatl communication networks
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel
