This role is part of a forward-thinking innovation team focused on building the connective layer that powers next-generation digital products and services. You will design and implement scalable integrations that connect systems, APIs, and AI-driven workflows across a complex ecosystem.
Working at the intersection of backend engineering, platform development, and applied experimentation, you will help transform early product ideas into production-ready capabilities.
You will collaborate closely with product leaders and technical executives to rapidly prototype and deploy new solutions.

Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and maintain API-first and event-driven integrations across multiple platforms, systems, and services.
- Develop AI-enabled workflows and enable seamless interaction between AI services, applications, and backend systems.
- Rapidly connect internal and third-party systems to support prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and new product experimentation.
- Build scalable data pipelines that support real-time processing, automation, and system interoperability.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to translate ideas into functional, production-ready systems.
- Support architecture decisions for distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
- Continuously improve integration performance, reliability, and scalability across the ecosystem.
- 5–8+ years of experience in backend, platform, or integration engineering roles.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems design.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Node.js, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture, messaging systems, queues, or streaming technologies.
- Experience integrating AI services, third-party APIs, and experimental backend systems quickly and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Highly resourceful, adaptable, and execution-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
