We are searching for a skilled Interactive Designer to help build experiences that demonstrate how these capabilities come together to deliver outstanding outcomes to employers, academic partners, and most importantly students. 

You’ll be building interactive journeys for cross-functional teams to use as tools to drive better alignment with customers and one another. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about using a combination of storytelling and technology to help people see things in a different light, or understand a solution in a new way. You’re an ideal candidate if you work collaboratively while always bringing a creative vigilance to your work that consistently delights your audience.

As Interactive Designer, you will:

  • Use off-the-shelf prototyping, animation, and interaction tools to stitch together highly engaging, multi-modal journeys
  • Collaborate with product managers and other Guild partners to build highly impactful journeys that enable Guild teams to deliver on our mission more effectively
  • Grow and maintain an organized library of visual, audio, and other interactive assets 
  • Rapidly iterate based on partner feedback
  • Quickly sketch storyboards that serve as a lens into the student and/or customer experience
  • Help bring to life product and service visions through visual concepting
  • Diagram both single- and multi-stakeholder journeys through the Guild solution suite
  • Support design thinking activities cross-functionally to absorb knowledge and needed information from partners

Required Competencies

  • 5 years of professional experience in UX and visual design for product and/or game development
  • Interactive development using HMTL5, Javascript, and/or off-the-shelf tools
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch 
  • Visual storytelling through storyboard sketching of both product and “real life” scenarios 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and changing needs
  • Desire to provide extraordinary value to the people with whom you work
  • Commitment to seeking out and receiving critical feedback and brainstorming alternative ideas 

Preferred Competencies

  • Familiarity with Tumult Hype Pro
  • Familiarity with  Unity3D

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $100,000 - $133,750, as well as company stock options.
