Summary/Overview:

Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) is seeking an Intern to support our Data Management team. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills in software development and gain firsthand experience with database technology.

Job Responsibilities:

This role will best fit an enthusiastic beginner Python coder who loves coding and working with data.  You will be submerged into a world of software, data, containers, deployments, testing, designing, and most importantly - thinking of new technology solutions. 

In this role, you will gain experience in:

• Python software development (including writing/reviewing installable packages, testing, packaging, and system design/architecture)

Key Job Qualifications:

You love to code and are eager to learn in a fast-paced, intellectual, and friendly environment. You have a natural aptitude towards problem solving and are willing to roll up your sleeves to get work done.

Requirements:

• For current undergraduate/graduate student or recent graduate
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Basic SQL and Relational Database knowledge

Duration:

As an intern, you will be able to work up to 29 hours per week. This is a 3-month long role with an opportunity to extend for a total of 6 months. 

Hourly Pay:
The hourly base pay for this intern position is $23 an hour for undergraduate students and $28 an hour for graduate students.
