About the position:
G-P has a fantastic opportunity for a Masters' student to participate in a 12 week, paid summer internship, within the People Team. As part of this role, you will get the chance to work in a global team and gain valuable, hands-on experience, within a rapidly growing company. The aim of this internship is to give you an insight into the work that goes on within the People Team, as well as to provide you with worthwhile skills and experience that you will hopefully find beneficial for your future career.
We are looking for a detail-oriented intern with a desire to learn, enjoy challenges and get things done in a fast-paced environment. In this unique opportunity, you will gain a broad and inside view of a growing company and expand your technical and professional skills in a real-world setting. As an intern, you will be provided with the opportunity to work hand in hand with the People Team department and be exposed to key HR initiatives and goals in an extensive selection of projects, with the potential to gain knowledge and experience in a wide variety of business functions and jobs.
What you can expect to do:
- You will get the exciting opportunity to work with the team in implementing career architecture and career pathing projects
- Work alongside colleagues in assisting to create centralized documents to help with introducing the initiative to the organization (visuals, job aids, talking points, etc)
- Work on data tracking regarding our job architecture and career levels
What we are looking for:
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internship, pursuing a Masters' degree. All majors are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of the Human Resources function and how it relates to the greater organization
- Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to be resourceful while completing tasks and projects
- Desire to work collaboratively in a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and successfully manage multiple deadlines
