Summary/Overview:

KBRA is seeking talented individuals to join our 10-week summer internship program, hosted from June 13 through August 19, 2023. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience into the life of the market’s fastest growing credit rating agency and to learn valuable skills coveted in any corporate setting. This internship will be based out of remotely. The application deadline is January 31, 2023.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Work within the Sales and Customer Service organization and will be responsible for working with the sales leaders to drive Account Strategies, Customer Engagement, and Satisfaction
  • Proactive outreach activities that will uncover opportunities and risks.
  • Expected to provide a ‘white glove service’ to our existing client base to ensure maximum value from existing products is gained and uncover new applications and use cases for the organization
  • Work primarily with existing KBRA Analytics customers, but onboarding of new customers is also expected
  • Understanding an assigned book of business, sales strategies, and working with clients to convey the company’s value proposition, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring proactive customer service
  • Maintain high level of product knowledge including key research, product features and benefits and other elements of services
  • Convey the company's value proposition and deliver on activity targets and retention goals
  • Assist with client demonstrations and provide training, and on-site visits to improve workflow adoption and customer satisfaction
  • Drive engagement of content through channels that align with customers’ workflows
  • Promote awareness regarding publications and new research to the client base
  • Gain and maintain familiarity with client organizations and processes to create and execute on Account Plans
  • Provide proactive customer service by working closely across teams to ensure client issues and needs are communicated and resolved effectively
  • Provide forecast and pipeline information to management
  • Uncover new opportunities and mitigate risks by coordinating with appropriate internal teams

In addition to the work, you will complete within your assigned department, there will be either an individual or group capstone project to be completed and presented to senior staff at the end of the internship. This project is meant to be an opportunity to apply existing skills and knowledge as well as what has been learned throughout the summer. There will also be opportunities to meet and interact with your fellow interns through Lunch and Learns, social events, and other enrichment workshops.

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as work closely with partners in a collaborative environment.
  • Able to adhere to short deadlines and work with many different teams
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills

Hourly Pay:

The hourly base pay for this intern position is $23 an hour for undergraduate students and $28 an hour for graduate students.
