Job Title: Shipping & Inventory Co-ordinator
Department: Manufacturing
Location: Richland WA
Position Overview:

A Shipping Coordinator manages the efficient flow of outbound goods handling scheduling documentation and carrier communication to ensure timely delivery. They verify order accuracy prepare packing lists/labels resolve shipping errors and maintain inventory records acting as the key link between manufacturing staff inventory staff and field staff.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Coordination:
    Scheduling pick-ups and deliveries negotiating freight rates and liaising with carriers (e.g. UPS FedEx freight forwarders).
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    Preparing bills of lading co-ordinating with Global logistics specialist for custom forms and shipping labels ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Shipment Tracking:
    Monitoring outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery and proactive communication with customers regarding status updates.
  • Inventory & Quality Control:
    Verifying packing and inspecting goods to prevent damage while participating in inventory audits.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Resolving issues with damaged goods lost shipments or discrepancies in inventory.
  • Other responsibilities:
    Participate in continuous improvement on inventory accuracy reduce waste and streamline picking processes.
    Co-ordinate with other teams and audit to make sure all shipping requests are fulfilled.
    Co-ordinate with coworkers for picking shipping requests if needed. 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities for Success:

  • 3+ years in receiving inventory or production control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Strong understanding of BOMs work orders and inventory transactions.
  • Highly organized reliable and proactive.
  • Strong ownership mindset — takes accountability for accuracy and follow-through.
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on warehouse work with system and process ownership.
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication across functions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced scaling environment.
  • Forklift certification and experience a plus.

Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill Interview assessments and responsibility of role job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for similar work.
